Theatre and Music

Crema has in its DNA a strong passion for art. As unique as renowed, a characteristic feature of our artisans is the pipe organ tradition. Crema produces the most famous pipe organs in Europe, so popular that one of the Cremasco’s pipe organ is portrayed on a stamp of Vatican City. Beside the strong passion for music, Crema has an important painting treasure. A beautiful fresco painting – the “Ultima Cena” - at Sant’Agostino cloister and the works of Vincenzo Civerchio (treasured at the National Art Gallery in Washington and in the Pinacoteca of Brera in Milan) are just some examples of the ability of our masters. The art scene is complemented by a theater that is often chosen as a springboard for the tour of the most important national shows of prose and acoustic concerts.
